alright 5/6/08 marked that end of my squash years in TJ as a team member
uhhhh
it has been 3 and a half years since i join TJ squash
time always flies
wanted to say the following during the camp but the little monkeys just had to spoil it by playing some water games.
actually is not a game coz is not a 2 way thing. hahaha
alright i wanted to say that
tonight is the last time i speak to you all as a captain.
uhhh. i know that i am demanding at times, becoz i want things to be done my way. and to me, whatever i do things that i think would be of the best interest of the squash team. so hope you guys pardon me. hahaha
i enjoy my time with the team. both the juniors and seniors.
all the gossip sessions all the dinners we have after training
i really enjoy that.
i enjoy training with the seniors and training the juniors. even though at times some of you get on to my nerves but haha but yea everything is cool now.
most importantly i hope i have spark your interest in squash and brought excitement/amusement/fun to you guys.
all the best to the next exco. if you all need any consultation please feel free to approach me i charge you guys at around 50 cent per word. hahaha

this is my 111 post
and this shall be the last post about the squash season
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~~~~~
is one hell of a ride really

we first got the draw with the 4 teams which stand a chance in the top 4
acsi acjc njc tjc
well ac s are the strongest but of coz nj and tj won't give up without putting a fight
so i have to say that we got a tough group

1st 2 games against ac s. so effectively we can say that by the end of our 2nd match we are already out of the competition. but we nvr give up and still hope...

and there seem to be a glimpse of hope when njc told us about XXX being underage

so we fought on regardless

i have to say that the match against this certain school located around adams road was the climax of our campaign. although there aren't many supporters (as usual) we literally fight like dogs
we were down 2-1
and of coz several flashes of brilliance by the captain pull the team back to 2-2
HAHAHAHA yes i am damn proud of this
(like hello!? playing with a club player... fought back from 1-2 and trailing 7-4 in the 4th set and came back to win the set and evetually won the game 3-2 is WOOOHOOOOHOOOO)
the 5 game was really close and we managed to edge our so called 'arch rivals'
and we won 3-2.
yeaaaaaaa if i am not wrong it has been a long time since we win this school located at adams road wahaha

the rest of the games are okay i guess

our hope of bringing squash to the top 4 dashed when news broke that XXX can carry on playing

oh well i have to say that its the higher powers' decision so we have to deal with it and so we finish the season 5th if i am not wrong
too bad man squash doesn't have quarter finals boooo
and this marks the end of our squash tournament

Rongbinho for screwing up a few matches IN ORDER to make the tournament exciting hahahah
Horny SKW for performing relatively consistantly as compared to RB so that the tournament won't be over exciting hahah
Fishy for impressing when it matters and ya commendable efforts to make the tournament exciting too
Appan man for putting up with all the shit i give you hahaha
you guys are awesome

our opponents are technically better den us
but we had the thirst
we had the hunger
to fight for our team
to fight for the school
to fight for ouselves
and we got what we deserved

alright so in the end we lost 1-4 to acjc
we can't deny the fact that we lost
but we put up a fight
a good fight actually
our dream of entering the semis have just ended
unless some miracle happen such that njc win acjc and we win njc
hahahah fat hope

but the team
never gave up
played with dignity
and
ran after every freaking ball
few scratches here and there
but no worries
we put up a good fight

alright guys our season starts tmr
i have said it once and i will say it again.
this is the freaking last year for us to represent the school
to fight for something which no one in the school's history had achieved
to fight for something which we work so freaking hard for
to fight for something which we believe in
to fight for glory
to fight for ourselves
imagine this.
we fight our hearts out
we got into semis
we became one of the top 4 junior college
TJ squash becomes one of our niche
more and more graded players would want to join TJ Squash
they come in thru DSA
our own players will see us as role models
and train and work as hard as they can
and TJ Squash will stay as one of the top 3 jcs from this moment onwards
imagine this.
we are not only doing it for ourselves
we are doing it for the future batches
and it begins from us
it begins from now.

set a target for yourself
if you think you can't win
set a target.
and achieve that target
as long as you do it, you win
whether your opponent win or lose doesn't better
as long as you did what you wanted, you win
at least we put in our heart and fight for what we believe we can achieve.

fight on comrades.

ahhh felt so relieved after today's frenly

apparently the plan to play it simple didn't work

coz when you step into the courts

the basic instinct is to go all out

but well well lets not be too happy

maybe they are not playing seriously after all

one more obstacle to clear

afterall this is our last year representing the school, and for some of us it might be the last time to play competitive squash ever again.
let's commit ourselves in this final lap. please take care of your body
and be ever ready to go all out.
